Route 1

If coming from Shrewsbury, A458 - A470 to Cross Foxes Inn via Welshpool and Mallwyd. Go past Cross Foxes and continue on for approximately one mile, take the first road on your right to Brithdir (B4416), go downhill over river bridge then take the second turn right up a farm lane nearly opposite the Torrent Walk lay-by on the left. Garden Cottage is up this lane sign-posted on the left . Park opposite the cottage alongside the fence​

Route 2

A5 to Druids Corner beyond Corwen. A494 to Dolgellau via Bala. Within 2 miles of Dolgellau take the road on the left signposted to Brithdir (B4416). Take the B4416 road up the hill through Brithdir village. After the former school on the left take the next left turn up a farm lane. Garden Cottage is up the lane on your left and is sign-posted. Park opposite the cottage alongside the fence
